Ditch Adobe Reader, Foxit does it faster.
Does Adobe Reader take too long to load on your computer? Do things freeze whenever you open a PDF file? You are not alone, read on…
With school upon us, a major thing on my mind is the massive amount of reading I have to do. Reading is alright, but why make it take any longer than it already does. Do your profs email and post tons of PDF file articles for you to read? Because mine do. Before this year’s reading load hits, I decided to ditch adobe reader and switch to the lighter, faster Foxit Reader 2.0.
I first read about Foxit in this Lifehacker post. Initially, I didn’t think much of it. But as my frustrations with Adobe Reader’s slow load times and general crappy performance increased, I reconsidered my decision not to give Foxit Reader a try.
I was actually shocked by the results. PDFs open instantly, and it never crashes. Like many others, I spent years just following along with Adobe Reader because it was easy to find and installs itself the first time you go to open a PDF. But any research will tell you, it sucks.
Don’t put up with it anymore. Get Foxit Reader 2.0 now!
