Use Google to download MP3s
G2p.org is an easy to use site that helps you search Google for mp3 files. It is fun, safe, and easy to use! Below is the description of the service taken from their home page:
What does G2P do?
-G2P (Google to Person) uses some crafty Google searches to help locate open directories or otherwise shared files. These searches are nothing secret (In fact, take a look at the results, so you can see how it is done. However, it is much easier to remember g2p.org than these complex searches. Really I put this site together to make it easier on me, and then shared it with you.
I usually prefer BitTorrent to download whole albums, but when you just need one or two songs from any given artist, G2P is the answer.
Is it safe? According to the G2P homepage:
Why use G2P instead of P2P or BT?
-P2P/BT is being monitored — Using Google we can download a lot more safely. We are simply just following a link — curious how it leads directly to the file we are looking for.
Note, however, that it is going to take some trial and error to find the song. After you search and get your results, you may have to click through a few links to get a link to a song that actually works. Still, it beats paying 99 cents on iTunes ![]()
